TGIF friends!! We are linking up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching for a little Five for Friday fun! Come and join along with us!
I have joined an awesome Facebook group started by Angie Olson from Lucky Little Learners. It’s called Lucky Second Grade Teachers. It is such an amazing group! Well, I needed some good website ideas for practicing money. These awesome teachers turned me onto ABCya.com. HELLO! Where have you been all my life??? I guess I was late to the party but my kiddos LOVE this site!! I am just so thankful for this group and all its wisdom!
You know what this means…report cards are among us! Of course, the computers were down today so I couldn’t actually do them. But, as you can see by my piles, I am working on them…this is a huge step forward in my procrastination struggles!!
These are my two favorite books to read to my class! We just finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this week. The kiddos loved it! They checked out all the copies in the library. I LOVE it when they love a book as much as I do. Now, we are moving on to Charlotte’s Web. They are already into it. I love their love for books!
Let me introduce you to the new second grade distraction tool. Let me tell you…these kiddos keep about 10 of these Smencils in their desks. Then they pull them out, take them out of their container, give them a HUGE sniff, then put them right back into the containers and put them in their desks. Seriously. It’s the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
We are SO excited! Saturday is the day for our Washington Blogger and TpTer meet-up! We have some awesome sponsors and a great space! We are just so excited!!! Last year, we had such a great time. I can’t wait for this again:)
I hope that you all have a fabulous and restful weekend! We are almost to spring break:)

ABCya is a paid subscription for teachers right? We have 1:1 ipads and when I try it on Safari it says that it is a paid & not sure ipad will support it. Thanks for the reminder, but let me know.
Thanks, Jackie
