November Currently

This is Lindsey and I am here to link up with Farley for my November Currently. Whoop, whoop! So here goes…

LISTENING:

I am currently obsessed with Florida Georgia Line’s new album:)

My daughter and I may or may not have serious dance parties to this album and I may or may not stalk them on Instagram… I LOVE original voices and Tyler’s voice is currently my favorite:) If you haven’t heard it and are a country fan I highly recommend it!

LOVING:

I love, love, love when Starbucks gets their red cups! I get so excited! It is officially the beginning of the holiday season. I don’t know….maybe it’s just me…but I am positive that my coffee tastes better in a red holiday cup.

THINKING:

I am thinking that I need to grade my trimester math tests. They are just sitting there in a stack whispering to me “grade me, grade me, grade me” but I can’t bring myself to actually do it. Have I mentioned I am a procrastinator??? SO, I will sit here and stare at them and feel bad. Maybe I will go eat a piece of chocolate. That will make me feel better:) MAYBE I can get my hubs to help me…that will make me feel even better!!

WANTING:

I am a really big fan of reading a book and then seeing the movie. So, when I found out that Gone Girl was going to be a movie I was SO excited!!! Now I have been waiting to see it. I had plans to see it and then they fell through:( FINALLY I am going to go see it next week! I am so excited!! It was SUCH a good book and I am hoping that the movie compares!

NEEDING:

This is my brain during the weekend: Friday night = Woohoo! No work tomorrow! I’m going to stay up a little late(but I fall asleep by 10). Saturday night = Woohoo! I’m not tired! I got to sleep in today! Church doesn’t start until 11 tomorrow! I am going to stay up late! Sunday night = I can’t fall asleep, I can’t fall asleep! Monday = DEAD TIRED!!! Apparently, my brain thinks that I am a lot younger than I really am and it thinks I can bounce back from these late nights. Guess what brain??? NOPE! I am soooooo tired!! Monday nights are now my “go to bed early” nights:)

READING:

So my friends and I decided to start a book club and I was in charge of picking the first book. I was using the Goodreads app to find a new book and I stumbled across the first book in this series. Then I went on my Kindle and…TADA…it was FREE! So I read the first book and was hooked!! This is the newest book in the series and it is my kind of book! It is a funny mystery that I can read and not have to think! LOVE!

Hope you all have a great night!

I read the book, which I enjoyed, AND I saw the movie, which I…well, I don't want to spoil it for you!
    But, I will say I think you'll like it : )

Oh my goodness! I heart the red cups! They aren't here yet. Still waiting. I miss you terribly too and am looking to come home after the holidays when airfare drops. Coffee does taste better in the red cup. You'll love the movie Gone Girl. They did a really good job. I've also started a book club here. About to pick our first book and meeting date/time. Let's face time soon!

I had to laugh while I read this post… I felt so much of the same things when reading it and could really relate. I LOVE when the red Starbucks comes out. It's just so nice to see them. It makes me feel so warm inside and think of the holidays!! I totally can relate to how you feel with the needing sleep. I have the same conversations in my head as you do starting with Friday and then being dead tired on Monday. How can we change that??? Seriously there must be a way. Anyways, I hope that you had a great productive weekend and that you aren't too tired tomorrow.
