Hi KaSandra! GLAD stands for Guided Language Acquisition Design. It was made for helping ELLs develop language and vocab, but it's good for all kiddles. Our district trains us and we use it a lot with great success! Over two thirds of the kiddles are ELLs at our school and an even greater amount are free and reduced, the rest being high performers…..GLAD helps all of them! Google Project GLAD for more info.
